Dante's Performers
Ladi Blaze: Tribal Belly Dance, Fire Dancing, Fans, Fire Eating
After dancing at the Center For World rhytms and Movement for some time, Ladi became friends with Vegas and soon they discovered a shared passion for fire. It was this shared passion that began the birth of what is now Dante’s Gypsy Circus. Along with the other two founding members, Tommy and David the four decided to take their individual self taught skills and to come together to teach each other and to perform and share their passion with others. You can see Ladi Blaze perform with The Cinnamon Sisters and Tree of Life World Music as well as with Dante's Gypsy Circus.
Vegas Vanga: Tribal Belly Dance, Fire Dancing, Fans, Fire Eating/Breathing, Transfers, Poi.
Vegas has an obsessive personality, loves fire, loves to argue with Ladi Blaze and loves the energy between performer and audience. She has been tribal belly dancing for several years through the Center for World Rhythm and Movement. She has been seen performing with Gaianada Music and Dance Ensemble, The Cinnamon Sisters and Tree of Life World Music as well as Dante's Gypsy Circus and has recently earned her suspenders as a fire tender and wood-buster.
Yehuda ben Aesh: Staff, Spear
Yehuda’s amazing talent with the fire staff came from 15 years of self taught Martial Arts experience. Upon lighting the staff for the first time it was instantly known that he was a perfect fit. The Martial Arts training Yehuda has practiced was influenced by such things as Anime, Kung Fu, and Samurai movies, along with his brother who taught him some of his moves. Yehuda's passion for the arts comes through to the audience with his powerful stance and captivating rhythms. He recently earned his suspenders as a fire tender and wood-buster.
Cheri Dawn: Tribal Belly Dance, Fire Dancing, Poi
Cherie has a sense of peace and tranquility in the aura that surrounds her movements. Everytime she moves the crowd is overwhelmed with a positive vibe and and an everglowing smile. Cherie began her passion for fire and dance in 2006 when, influenced by her friend Connie Heilman she started tribal belly dancing at The Center for World Rhythms and Movement. She has been a vital part of the growing family since. Cherie was influenced by Vegas and Suzanne Gerard when she saw them spinning poi. She soon met kindred spirit Liz June. You can see Cheri perform with The Cinnamon Sisters and Tree of Life World Music as well as with Dante's Gypsy Circus.
Tommy Schneider: Fire Eating/Breathing
A street performer from New Orleans, a renegade hiding in Boston, 6 feet tall and covered in black leather, Tommy has a mythos as thick as french cream with an attitude to match. He is the official DGC road dog and miscreant.
Pyrophilia: Fans, Rope Dart
With an eye for choreography and movement Pyrophilia has honed her stage presence to a hot, sharp point. DGC's resident gothic belly dancer, She is also learning the art of tribal belly dance under the tutelage of Gaiananda member Camille Wagner and is a founding member of Salome's Spiral dance troupe.

Mandi: Poi, Devil Sticks
A gasp and the crowd whispers "Do you see that girl? Damn can she dance!" is shortly followed by "Well, where did she go off too?".
Liz June: Poi
A child of the sun, light on her toes, Liz was the first person to show most of us what it meant
to fire up a pair of poi. Liz can be found at occasional gigs and is also know to offer poi
spinning classes and workshops. Look for her spinning at many local events.

Dante's Safeties
Danielle "Dex" Kuntz: Fire Safety, Tribal Belly Dance, Poi
Danielle has powers to manifest in unexpected places. She was influenced by very dear friend Cherie Dawn and in 2006 began tribal belly dancing at The Center for World Rhythms and Movement as well as spinning poi. She was further inspired after meeting Vegas and Ladi Blaze and her passion for the Fire Arts was lit. Danielle is a dedicated fire safety and apprentice poi spinner. You can see Danielle perform with The Cinnamon Sisters and Tree of Life World Music.
Dwayne: Fire Safety
Some say he doesn't exist, others say (like the Dark Knight) he comes with Gatorade and kitty litter only when the need is greatest.
Pokes Ferguson: Fire Safety
A globe wandering soul, Pokes has decided to stay in Ohio a little while and get an education with whatever spare time he has left when he’s done building fires, tending fires, safetying for fire performers, learning the fire arts himself and looking for a female companion to ride on the back of his motorcycle. Though he has been familiar with the fire arts for many years this is his first year as a safety and he recently earned his suspenders as a fire tender and wood-buster.
Mac McFarland: Fire Safety
Said to hail from a more northern locale, Mac's specialties are building big fires and smooth talking the ladies. He likes his machete. You can find Mac wood busting and fire tending at several regional festivals East of the Mississippi.
